The buffet
Is GOGI an all-you-can-eat buffet?
Yes. GOGI is an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ and hot pot buffet in Geelong CBD. Pay one price per person and choose Korean BBQ, hot pot, or both.
How much is the GOGI buffet?
Hot pot is $38.80 on weekdays and $45.80 on weekends. Korean BBQ is $52.80 and $59.80. BBQ plus hot pot is $57.80 and $64.80. Weekend prices apply on Saturday and Sunday. See the menu.
Do children get a discount?
Kids under 4 eat free and kids under 12 are half price. Children are charged for the same option as the adults at their table.
Can I have both Korean BBQ and hot pot?
Yes. Choose the BBQ + Hot Pot option and you get the tabletop grill, a hot pot and the cooked buffet in one sitting.
What's included with every option?
The cooked buffet (Korean fried chicken, japchae, braised short ribs, kimchi stir-fried beef, fried rice, noodles, spring rolls and calamari) and Korean side dishes. Drinks are extra.
Is there a time limit?
Sessions are 90 minutes. If the restaurant isn't busy, you're welcome to stay longer. On busy Friday and Saturday nights we may need the table for the next booking.
Is there a charge for leftover food?
We ask guests to take only what they can eat. Large amounts of uneaten food may incur a surcharge, which helps us keep buffet prices down.
Bookings and groups
Do I need to book?
Walk-ins are welcome when there's space, but Friday to Sunday usually books out. Book online or call 0491 822 222.
How do I book for a large group?
For 8 or more people, call 0491 822 222 so we can seat you together. Wednesday and Thursday nights offer dine 4, pay for 3 for groups. See offers.
Can I bring a birthday cake?
Yes. Mention it when you book and we'll keep it chilled and bring it out with plates when you're ready.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, whenever we have a free table. Weeknights are your best bet without a booking.
Hours, location and parking
What are GOGI's opening hours?
Wednesday to Friday 5:30pm to 9:30pm, Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm to 9:30pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Public holiday hours may vary.
Where is GOGI Korean BBQ Buffet?
52 Moorabool St, Geelong VIC 3220, in the centre of Geelong CBD, a few minutes' walk from Little Malop Street, Westfield Geelong and Geelong Station. Open in Google Maps.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes. There is metered street parking on Moorabool Street and surrounding streets, plus public car parks nearby including Westfield Geelong. Evening and weekend parking is generally easy to find.
Is GOGI open for lunch?
Lunch is available on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm. Wednesday to Friday we open for dinner from 5:30pm.
Food, drinks and dietary needs
Is there dessert?
Yes. Soft serve ice cream from the machine, in vanilla, chocolate or half and half, is included with every option.
Which hot pot broths do you have?
Six: pork bone, mushroom, tomato, spicy (mild, hot or extra hot), budae jjigae and tom yum. Split pots are available so you can have two.
Are drinks included?
No. Drinks are ordered separately. We have soju, makgeolli, Japanese sake, beer, spirits and soft drinks. See the drinks list.
Do you have vegetarian options?
Yes. The hot pot buffet has tofu, mushrooms, greens, noodles and dumplings, and the cooked buffet includes vegetable dishes, fried rice and noodles. Pick the mushroom broth for a vegetarian pot.
Can you cater for allergies?
Please tell our team before you start. The buffet is self-service and shared, so we can't guarantee any dish is free from allergens or cross-contact.
Is the food halal?
We can't currently guarantee halal preparation. Seafood, vegetable and tofu options are available throughout the buffet.
Do you offer takeaway or delivery?
The buffet is dine-in only. Selected cooked dishes may be available for takeaway; call 0491 822 222 to ask.
Offers and payment
What offers are running?
Birthday guest eats free every day with ID, and on Wednesday and Thursday dinner every fourth adult eats free. Dine-in buffet only, not combinable, not on public holidays. Full terms.
